stock strut bar
hi, i have a 98 civic ex, i just got a si stock strut bar, but i noticed that mine is a little different than the si civics, in the si civic, there are already bolts mounted to the body of the car for full support, but on mine there are just the holes for the strut bar, but there isn't any bolts or strut bar mounting plate underneath for supports. so i do i put it in if i don't have the bolts and the mounting plate?
Thanks you!!!!
Thanks you!!!!

you should have dimples where the strut bar should be
all you need to get is bolts and nuts that are the right size for the bar and put it in
its really simple, its just honda only actually put the holes in certain models nad years depending on your model and year

The OEM bar for the GSR, Civic Si, and del Sols are exactly the same.

yes, those should be soft and easy to cut through.

A GSR strut bar will NOT fit on to the 99-00 Si bolts. Trust me, I had a GSR strut bar returned to me because of this, and I checked for myself on my 99 Si. I was dumb-founded because I thought they were the same, too. Heck, an ITR bar fits on an Si. But for non-Si owners who will have to get new hardware anyway, they should be able to adjust for this. Just wanted to clarify this for any possible Si owners who may be going back to stock...
