Default help me out here

I found a 93 hatch in a local paper. Being as I've always been a VW man
(dont get mad) i had one of my friends who's real good with hondas go up with me. The car was in decent shape, with just a lil rust over the rear fenders, and needed a paint job. The motor however had over 300k on it. But the car seemed to have been taken care of. It has brand new rims that the spoiled kids dad bought him for christmas and ran him a grand. But the lil brat doesnt know what he wants yet and isnt old enough to drive so he put it for sale. I was concerned about this but my friend said it might be ok, because it was probably mostly highway miles, and he has the same hatch with over 300k on that he sprays NOS to. The owner wanted 2200 for it but i wont go that high, was wondering if ya'll had any suggestions. Thanks

you are correct indeed, 2 grand for a 93 hatch w/300k miles is just too much...why dont you just tell him to take off the rims and cut the price by at least a half!!!!

put it this way a friend of mine just sold his 95 civic coupe with only 145k miles for 2 grand!!!

I just saw a 95 hb civic with 200 000 KM for about 800 CAN. So yea, that is a little expensive.
