Default Need help with Ls Vteck swap

i have a b18 in my 89 civic but looking for more HP anyone done a b18 to b18 vteck conversion ( change head to vteck ) iv heard this will give u the b18 torque and the vteck rpm makeing a awesome motor but iv also been looing to to the b18c type R but not sure what would make the best performance and dont know how hard it is to change the head and whats involved do i have to change the ECU distib intake OR even can i use the stock intage harnice? can anyone help PLEASE

its VTEC...and if you don't know that, this is over your head.

i usually see ppl spell it "vtech" , yea, its VTEC

buy the Golden Eagle LS/VTEC kit. I think it's like 200$ at www.goldeneagle.com. Have your head checked for flatness, get some arp headstuds, and you can do everything yourself at home (if you have reasonable mechanical ability).

If you have a b18 in ur civic now, thats about the most tq youre gonna get. The fact that you cannot spell vtec, leads me to believe that you are 16 years old. All the information you need to know is already posted over on Honda-tech, and if you are serious about the swap, read up.
