people raise and lower cars all the time 3/4" is not enough to make any difference in handling. I test drove for about 45 min and no difference what so ever

i have 16s but i did not go with a low profile tire b/c i live in the country. It is not any slower, and i am not looking for speed anyways just economy

16's are no prob and yes u can lift ur car shit honestly i always wanted to have a civic with 22's just to see how they look but...even tho ur car doesnt go slower that doesnt mean that ur performance wont change...ex. u cause an extra strain on ur motor just by getting bigger rims (not because of weight but height) also on ur underside i.e. suspension travel, and speed sensor ex.2 a blazer with 16 in. rims with 33 in. tires-the speedometer says 55 but u might be doing 60 or 65 (a true proven fact)...

well if u dont buy low profile tires (lp's) then u get the standard big ass clunkers lol and u might rub against the fender wells, ( i would just remove...or get lp) haha

This is my car which i did all the work myself. The square looking piece of hard rubber is the spacer i used for a lift.
