hey i have an ek hatch that i'm building a gsr for but i got the rods from one gsr motor which i dont know the color code for but the rods are stamped with a 3, and I'm using a crankshaft from another gsr motor and the crankshaft has a blue dot on it. so would i use oem honda blue rod bearings or would i need to know the color of the crankshaft that the rods came from?

 

I would take it all into a machine shop and have them measure it all up.Crank journals,ID of rods and rod length.Thy should also be able to help you pick the rite bearings.

Also if you want to you can plasticgauge the bearings to make sure you have the rite clearance.
