D16Z6 5speed for me as well. Stock except K&N filter and no resonator on the intake.
I did a "mileage run" (where I avoid full throttle, don't use A/C, and no drive-thrus) last month and got 35mpg. That's 95% in town. The other 5% was a 5 min. drive on the highway but I floored it up to the speed limit, turned at a gas station, floored it back to the speed limit and went home so I personally consider it all in town- I just figure it's good to engage vtec once in a while, assuming it's up to temp. full of oil, etc. of course.

That's using synthetic oil and a 2oz. of Lucas upper cylinder lube/injector cleaner every other tank of gas.

edit: Oh, forgot to mention I only get gas at shell. Around here that's your best bet for good gas except maybe BP but that's further away.
Last time I got gas from somewhere else I thought I had a main relay going out b/c it would crank and crank before starting so it can make a big diff. where you get it from.
