Default battery?

i have some questions about moving my battery to the trunk. is there a certain type of battery that i need to use when doing this? what is the minimum wire guage that i would want to use for this? do i need to use a sealed battery box.

battery box isnt required, but i would recommend it if your going to use a acid filled battery. For mine i used a glass mat style battery, such as an optima and i used a sealed battery box.

i would recommend using something around a 4 gauge cable to run to the front.

if this is a DD vehicle i honestly wouldnt waste time and money going through all the work to put the battery in the trunk. If it works now, dont mess with it

well it is a daily driver but i had a kind big system in my car and already have 4 guage wire runing through the car. i just thought if it is already there maybe i could still put it to use, and clean up my engine bay a little more.
