HELP! electrical problem i guess
i just got done doing a swap on my 94 civic sedan. along with an auto to manual conversion while i was at it. i proceeded by trying to start the car i got nothing. the lights, radio, you know all the interior stuff was working, but i also heard this really fast clicking noise under the dash. so i look around to see what it was, still unsure of the noise i moved the ground on the head. i then try to start it again, this time the fuel pump came on, and the car cranked over but i don't think i had the fuel pressure in the lines or i then primed the fuel line, then the starter just clicked again, and i hear that clicking again. i determined it was the main relay. once again nothing no fuel pump again so i replaced the relay, and made sure all the grounds had good contacts now i am just getting the clickking and the speedo needle is bouncing around crazily. can someone please help me
Sounds like a bad ground or misplaced negative connection somewhere. Are the battery terminals in the correct spot at the battery, in the under hood fuse box and at the starter? Fully charged battery? Alt connected properly?
