headlight eyelids

Default headlight eyelids

i am going to be painting my civic soon. i will be spraying the primer this next weekend. so my question is, can i just spray primer on the headlight lens and then the paint? do i need to rough the surface up to get it to adhear better?

You would have to rough it up a little for the adheasion.

you're going to paint eyelids directly onto the lens?

at least use removeable lids so when you realize how stupid they look you can remove them :a:

not to mention it affects light output. but if you must do the ricer mod, do what snoopy said, use removable lids.

I have yet to see a 96-00 civic that looks good with those things.

the headlight housing design isn't right for it...

it was one of the first things i did to my car but i still rock em. i don't mind em that much.
