Default Calling SRS airbag experts........

I need full blown PROFESSIONALS, or someone who could direct me to a PROFESSIONAL, who know the ins and outs of Hondas SRS airbag systems. I don't want people who are not sure, or who have no experience, or people who speculate.

The basic question is..........what are the electrical differences between a drivers side airbag from 1995 Civic EX coupe and a 2000-2003 Honda S2000 airbag?

If I could hypothetically install an S2000 steering wheel on my 1995 Civic EX coupe, would there be any issues with things like impedance, voltage, current, yadda yadda yadda???

I do know that both airbags are single stage and both have only a 2 wire connection.

Just want to give you a heads up, the 92-95 Civic steering spline is different from the S2000. The steering wheel will not bolt up correctly.

96-00 Civics however can use the S2000 steering wheel.

I know that. I already have a spare EK and EG steering column. I intend to cut the splines off both and have the EK spline machined, welded, and smoothed onto the EG column so the S2000 wheel will work. I will then be able to get the horn and cruise control to also work.

I just need to know about the electrical differences between the EG and S2000 airbags and whether my EG SRS computer will electrically interface with the S2000 airbag.

Sorry, couldn't help you there. All I know is the SRS plugs are different between the EG and EK. Im not sure if there is a way to hardwire everything.
