Default Hmmm...

I hope this isn't blow by again.... eventhough I have a good tune and removed my pcv system and set it up for a catch can I'm getting a kind of haze out of my catch can. I'm not getting any detonation or anything. It's not smoking, just kinda fumey when I take the hoses off and let my former pcv system vent to the air.

I read on H-T(eww) that that can happen because the pcv system isn't under vacuum and being sucked back into the intake manifold anymore it's just flowing out into a can.

I still make the same power and everything opposed to my loss in power when I blew ringlands on my stock motor.

I'm not getting any smoke out of the exhaust either.

Again, it's nothing like blown ringlands where smoke poured out of my valve cover and stuff, that was horrible. It's just kind of "hazy" maybe because it's like 80 degrees out or something.

I get haze too. It is normal from an open breather PCV system.

Please tell me you aren't draining the can back into the oil pan.

Yeh my friends said it's normal. MY motor only has 500 miles or so on it. I've driven it like 10 times since october and this was the first time I actually noticed it.

Nah it's full of gas fumes and shit and decreases the life and efficiency of the oil, right?
