i want to drop my car and maybe tuck a little bit

and in the sponors corner im thinkin about gettin the gc/koni yellows combo package except people told me if im gonna be pretty low to get the top hats


what do the top hats do and do i really need them¿?¿?¿?

they seat the bumpstop up higher thus giving you more shock travel, good on slammed cars so you dont bottom out.

 

can you still have your hood closed right with the top hats?
like the hood will close properly.

 

The hood should still function correctly.

The only problem that can occur with extended top hats is clearance issues with certain strut bars.

I only have a 1 inch drop on mine but I have hit some bumps and potholes that have bottomed out the shocks. Unless you are running the SPSS shortened Koni Yellows, top hats are almost mandatory to prevent the shock from bottoming out.
