Ok I seem to have a few questions as to the motor of my car. For all purposes, I thought I did not have a VTEC, however I was told that I do, now I know that the 98 EX's come with a VTEC in them but I was pretty sure I didn't have it. So my question is how do I go about figuring out if I have a VTEC? And if not, what all do I need to swap it over to a VTEC? I know I need the head, the ECU, and the solenoid (which I'm fairly positive I have on my head already). By the way I do have a 98 EX. Thanks y'all!

assuming its the stock engine you have a d16y8

it does have vtec
it does not have vtec stamped on the head
it is sohc
it is a decent little engine, but its designed for economy, not racing, so modding it doesn't yeald amazing results unless you dump alot of money into it or boost it
