Whas up Everybody !

I currently own a Mazda Protege 5 but I'm looking to buy a Civic Coupe maybe a 92-95 (what generation is that?) or a 96-00 (what generation is that?). And of course I'm caught up in all the JDM frenzy thats going on, and I'm wondering will Civic Type R parts fit on either? Like the the lip, side skirt, rear lip, etc...

92-95 is 5th gen, and 96-00 is 6th gen, not sure about what parts are for what tho

All CTR parts will fit the 96-00 hatch. You can only fit the motor, grill, front lip, headlamps, interior pieces and mirrors on the coupe.



Only the motor will fit the 93-95 coupe.

yeah...what doood said..dont get a coupe and put CTR stickers on it..cuz that is total rice..lol...the 6 gen (96-00) have differences though, the font bumper, fenders, hood, grill, are different, and so is the dash counsol.

a coupe with CTR stickers on it is rice, but a coupe with CTR parts on it is nice.

Thanks for the replies, but I might go with a 97 civic coupe. Will the 99 and above Civic Si parts (Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Lip) work? with out modifications? If I want to upgrade the bumpers to 99 Si do I need the reinforcement part also? Sorry for so many questions, I'm trying to get the car for next year.

on 96-98 civics, you only will have to replace the hood, headlights, bumper, fenders with 99-00 pieces, the lines are different and they wont match up if you dont get them all. im in the process of looking for fenders and a bumper right now. hope that helps
