93 dx problem

Default 93 dx problem

ok..my 93 dx won't start after i stalled it, everything works fine and i can roll start it but it won't start cold(sitting)...when i turn the key the starter won't click or anythign it just gives me a silence....the fuel pump comes on...but the starter won't work...any ideas?

Main relay.... Thats what it is.

I may be wrong, but if I remember correctly, the fuel pump would not come on if the main relay was out.

I'd guess either your starter or ignition switch.

How is your battery? Might want to test that.

My wife once had this problem... She wasn't pressing in the clutch... h:

Could be wrong but I don't think it's the main relay(replacing soon on my car) or the ignition switch as I don't think push starting the car would work in those cases.

My guess would be battery, starter or the connection between the two.

things to check: battery, all connections involving starter/battery and I would also jump the clutch safety switch to rule it out as well.

Are you getting voltage at the starter? If not, check the switch, cables, battery connections and battery. If you are, have the starter checked.
