I have a 1995 Civic EJ1 coupe. Since 2005 I tore down the whole car and rebuilt it. That included removal the SOHC D16Z6 motor and all items in the engine bay including the entire AC system forward of the firewall so I could also repaint the engine bay.

The car has been complete for a few months and I now have a built B18C1 with LS crank and rods with all the NA trimmings pushing 180 WHP and 131 WTQ.

All I have left to do is recharge the AC system. I am using the original AC components and the compressor is mounted to the Del Sol B16A3 VTEC AC bracket. When I put it all back in, I was a dumbass and connected the AC belt to an empty compressor. It was no problem for a little while, but then it started squeaking big time. I then cut the belt. I've done nothing with the AC since.

So now, I need to replace the AC compressor, belt, and AC oil and then get it recharged. I need to know if all R134a compressors from 1994-2000 Civics are the same or if there are differences between 94-95 and 96-00. Also need to know if the silver receiver/dryer canister under the driver side fender also needs to be replaced?
