i just bought a coupe but it has a d16z6 in it.... the dude told me it needes new rods.... my question is, to fix it temporary, could i use a d15 rods in it????

you dont want to put "temporary" parts in the block for the simple fact that its not eactly easy to rip the whole thing apart to put the right parts back in.

yeah i figure that know lol, i took da head off, den the exaust manifold, then in an attempt to drop the oil pan, 1 of the 3696031 bolts stripped and now im beat cuz i cant get it off.

I think your best bet is to try find a used short block...but if it was me I would just start saving for a swap
