Default why so slow?

97,000 miles on my Si.

I've noticed my car not taking off as good as it used to. Seems like it is taking longer to go through the rpms. I just put a new fuel filter on about 4 months ago, spark plugs were done about 9 months ago, haven't done cap or rotor, could cap and rotor be a cause of this? Also I had my cel come on, and I took it in to Autozone and they said it was my Oxygen Sensor, still haven't changed that, but now my cel doesn't come on. Is the oxygen sensor something that would make my car seem bogged down? Not really sure where to go on this one.

Yeah I figured the O2 sensor being bad is probably not going to help me. I'm from the Fort Wayne area in Indiana.

Get your o2 sensor replaced and replace your cap and rotor. That could be the sole reason as to why your car is slower than usual.
