Default D16Y8 Question

I got shavings in the block and what have to do a overhaul on the engine, which would amount to about the same as a used engine. What engine can I replace it without have ing to mess with tranny, axles, or ecu?

Otherwise your going to find your sell doing a complete tear down, assesing the damages, and replacing many parts and racking up a decent size machine shop bill.
