Default Replacing clutch

What would be the best clutch brand to replace with, a 92 civic si hatch? My car just about goes dead(when it wants to), when im in either gear. And needle on the rpm gauge jumps wildly but never exceeds over redline? I know that this is the problem

advise needed

Its one of those small problems you have to fix when you get a used car :chuckles:. If that brands a stock one no thanx, im looking for a performance brand like injen, apex etc.

if your car is stock, no point in getting as you put it "performance" clutch, wont do anything but cost you more moneny. usually when the clutch goes bad you cant put it in gear or the clutch slips.

Are you saying the tach needle "jumps"?? If so, does the engine seem to be doing what the tach indicates?? In other words, does the engine RPM change with the tach??

Exactly  , it doesnt shake, smoke or anything like that. But it starts to make a bub bub bubub bubu bub sound like its going to turn off. It actually shut off on me one day. I thought the battery was going dead :dunno:.
