Default just a start

Well i want to do a swap, im not realy worried about too much power, i just want an EG to run high 12's or something. But here is the problem, i only have about 6 grand for the complete swap. Im not worried about going real fast, gettin an EG to run high 12's aint too hard, and o yea i want it to be NA. I was thinking buying a H22 for about 2 grand, good mounts and traction bar, and use skunk2 proseries stage 2 on the head, keep the bottom end stock, and call it a day, i should run about high 12's huh? well wut do u suggest.

Getting an N/A motor to run 12's on a $6k budget is impossible. Take that 6k and build/boost your stock motor.

^^not true...just gotta know what to buy and where to buy it! 250whp from a n/a h22 is possible considering its close to 200hp stock.

Lets take into account drivetrain losses of 15% and that would put us at ~170 whp (generously). Good luck buying (and swapping) an H22 and then adding enough parts to make 80 whp over stock N/A with $6k.

Go to honda-tech and ask them how much they have paid for their 250 whp N/A H22 setups. It isn't possible to swap a motor and make up that much hp with that kind of budget. Sorry.

a b18c5 with the right mods in a light enough chassis with good suspension and a good driver will break 12's. but good luck doing all that for $6k.
