On my way to work yesterday i saw my charge light was on. Thinking my Altnator was going, i shut off all my electriocs. i turn a corner and it felt like my power steering had gone. just hopeing i could make it to work and not brake down i keep going. then i started hearing a weird nosie. a block from my job there was a big pop like bang sound. i looked up into my rearview and saw something bounceing away from under my car. i parked the car a work, looked to see what fell off and to my suprice my altanor belt and power steering belts was missing. On top of that with a closer look My Crank Pulley was Gone!! how the hell could that of happen? any one know what i neepd to do to get this fixed?? im gonna try and get it towed by to my apartment in hopes of fixing it myself cause i just Know this is gonna cost alot to take it somewhere.....

I'm guessing that either the pully bearing went out/seized or the pully wasn't on tight.
Get new pulley and belts.

dont waste your money on the AEM pullies...just get a new stock one from somebody for like 10 bucks. Then go get a new key from the stealership.

nothing really "wrong" with the AEM pullies. Just some people think that they are overpriced for what they offer. As it is it is going to cost you a bit to get the belts, pulley, and key...i think that is all the other post was saying....is save your cash in case something in the engine was damaged. most honda engines have 0 valve lash tolerance...or something like that...it basically means if you loose the timing belt or crank pulley your pistons can smash into your valves which smash into the camshaft and your whole top end is totalled..worst case scenario of course. most of the time there are just a couple of valves that are bent...but that is still costly to repair.

Ok i got all my parts now and i attached this issue. i went ahead and got the light crank pulley and ended up have to get that little woodruff/ keyway Key thats soo easy to lose. Everything went pretty smooth ...that is till i got to the stupid Alternator. the F&@$#* thing will not move. i loosened all the bolts for it and even took the lower bolt all the way off and it still would not adjust. WHAT NOW?! theres no way to tighten the belt.......any suggestions?
