hey ya'll, what parts do i need to buy from an 99-00 Si in order to fit the factory sway bar for my needy, looser than your boy's girlfriend suspension?

i'm thinking that i need the tie arm, sway bar, and something else!!! but i forgot

btw, how much would it approx. be?

are you talking about the rear or front sway bar?

i think you already have the holes for the bars...you just need to drill them out. not totally sure on that.

 

If its a rear you're looking for, I have one on my car, and this what you need:

the bar, 2 endlinks, 2 (one on each side) bolt/nut to attach each endlink to each LCA, 2 rubber bushings that the bar sit in, 2 little metal loops to hold the bushing & bar to the brackets, 4 ( 2 on each side ) nut/bolts to hold onto the loops, 2 brackets that hold the bushing/bar onto the car, and 4 (again, 2 on each side) nut/bolts to hold the brackets onto the car.


if you got all those parts from Honda, I have the actual part sheet and I think the list for all parts total is like $240. Do yourself a favor and get one used...I got mine for $80 for the entire setup.

 

get the tegR bar. its like twice as thick as the Si.

I thought I read a how-to saying it was 137 from acura (bar alone)

 

thanks for the info...i'm going to do the back one, but try to get the Comptech one cause they come with a subframe reinforcement.

i'm actually look for the front and the front doesn't have any holes for it, i tried looking awhile back..:thumbup:

 

Try getting the ITR bar with the beaks kit....all you need is there...and GSR LCA"s........that's what I'm getting once I can afford it...so............
