ok here goes my buddy just picked up a 92 civic hatch. it has a fully buil h22a4 engine with a t3t4 turbo. we are having a hessitation problem, we replaced the plugs so far. now the boost is up to 10psi the fuel pressure is up to 38lbs, when you get on in 3rd -5th it sputters real bad cant get it to engage vtec cant reach the rpm. now i am a tech but not famillar with honda any knowlage at this time will help me.

do not boost with that engine in it's current state. make sure the ignition and cam timing are correct. what is being used for fuel and engine management?

 

we are running 93 octane it has an aem e management system

 

what is the ignition timing at the distributor? are the cams lined up at tdc?

 

when it idles it will run smooth then it will sputter a little bit then clear out.

 

i couldnt check that it is dark and my shop is closed would there be anything else?

 

did you ever have the car tuned?

i never done turbo yet ive done all motor. never got into turbo motors.
