What is the best tire size for SI rims

I just bought a set of 99-00 SI Rims without tires and I was looking to see what is the best size tires to put on these rims. I was looking at 195/50/R15, but I am not sure if this is the best one. Any input will be appreciated.

Stock size is a 195/55/15, but you may be happier with some 205/50/15 tires. The wider width allows them to hold the road much better.

With the shorter profile 205/50 tire, your speedometer and odometer will be off slightly. Just an FYI since this bothers some people.

But which car do you have? Getting the wrong size tires can mess up your odometer and speedo.
