Default Hatch project v.1 : body

im thinking about starting to work on this car. ive got some pics of the stuff thats gotta be worked on, and im wondering how much you think it would cost to have it done by a body shop and painted, or if you think i can do the bodywork myself with minor difficulty. my father is a welder so i can probably have him teach me how to weld pretty well so keep that in mind when checking the pictures

this is the dent in the side, its just behind the drivers side door

this is the driver side and passenger side rear quarters respectively

and it has rust along the top of the windshield like this in a few spots and down the trim pieces on the roof, one spot has an actual hole so water has been leaking in too

it could be done, going to be a lot of work, air sanders required for completion this centry!

My g/f's car was worse than that, i had to weld in pannels left & right and it's finally almost ready to be painted.

u'r probly lookin about 5-6 hundred minus the quarters for the body work from a decent shop.

They are gonna have to pull the glass to fix that part by the windshield.
