hahaha you guys are dumb...check it:

Hypethetical Civic coupe say 96 EX

stock car: casette, 14 steelies /w caps, no tint, low quality sound, trade-in value at 65k is $5.5K

add: CD, high quality speakers, 16" rims, tint, new trade-in value is $6.5K

you built value by upgrading your car... its done everyday

(retail would be $9.3K stock, $10.5K aftermarket)

you don't get jack extra in the price. I'd say you may get about 10-20% extra for most of the parts you add. if your lucky. swaps may add to the price, but then again I don't know how its been driven on. In most cases if the cars got performance mods you might as well assume the cars been ragged.

your talking about blue booking with extra stock mods...blue book is sheet any way.

EDIT

my bad random I got so caught up in the heat of the battle I forgot to respond to you. I agree $1500 sounds like a lot unless shes a low milage jewel. get a rex. you know there no way you're gonna drive honda and not mod it.

no i dont evaluate, i deevaluate.... there a difference

and good thats you, thats not 300 million other americans, most of the people i talk to want aftermarket item such as a lift, nerf bars, cd players, and stuff of that nature to already be on the car... i build value with that and sell it at a higher price...
