Look at the panels this guy has. They allow the speakers to be mounted inside them. I need to get some, so if someone could tell me what car they come from. In the pic they are on a 94 cx hatch.

honda optional rear speaker kit for the 5g civic hatchbacks. it took me a while to track down a set in black in mint condition. got it for 80 bucks, comes with 2 speaker brackets, 2 speaker fill in panels, and 2 speaker covers. this was like 4 years ago. good luck.

Yeah... If you got the covers with the brackets for $80, you got a good deal. I paid $50 for mine, and have to make my own brackets. I think the biggest speaker you can put back there is a 5 1/4

Heads are selling them on ebay all the time. I won't post the ebay link because HAN doesn't like it, but goto ebay and type:

civic speaker

in the keywords. You'll find a bunch.

How did you make your own brakets? I will also need to because the brakets are hard to find, and the set I have found are being sold within a day, i think. Thanx

eh, rear speakers arn't worth installing.

I'd pass on the panels and the rear speakers. just get a good set up components up front.

I haven't made them yet. It might be a pain in the ass. I might have to hit up a shop and see what they're charge.
