Default del sol door panel

Hello!

I have a 93 del sol and I decided to revinyl all the gray interior parts red. I've already redone everything except the doors. I have the door panels off the car but I can't figure out how to seperate the upper gray part (where the door handle is) from the lower black part (where the switches are).

Anyone know how it's done?

Here is an example I found online of what I mean:

I want to separate the upper gray part (which has been redone blue in that picture) from the lower black part so I can revinyl it.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

I don't think you car separate the door panels their are little pins that are melted together.I have seen people just glue fabric to parts of the door but it doesn't hold very long.

You might be able to cut the melted parts off and re attach them with screws.
