I dont want to question but I can clearly remeber going faster than that(not much but 135ish...) right after I got my SI (dont bash 16yrs old first car, once a dumb ass then I lost my license and got back to reality) and I am pretty sure the speed limiter was intact.

It should be higher than 120. I've broke that (barely) in my EL which has a D16Y8. Although it does have a different ECU I think...

When I took my 00 Civic Si to VIR. I was able to stretch it's legs on the 1.2 mile long back straight after the famous Oak Tree turn. I was much faster than 138.

Yes OEM ECU. Topped out in 5th gear and had a 2002 BMW M3 pass me like I was standing still and drafting him was a Ford F150 Lightning.





And yes I passed the Dodge Stealth like it was standing still

hum..wonder why mine wont go over 120mph...humm....nice ride....what struts and springs you have..thats the exact stance i want on mine

see way too much fender gap....im thinkin 2" drop springs(like eibach maybe) and bilstein struts...only thing im thinkin of goin to 17"....not sure
