2) I didn't seriously run my car
3) I'm not in this to race
I hate explaining this every 6 months to a year, but here we go again....
see, not all of us bought honda's because of the whole import craze. I was a honda enthusiest long before I was modding cars, and even before I was driving. I grew up around them, so I appreciate them for their reliability, economy, sportyness, and non-crap interiors. plus, they look pretty fucking good for a non-premium brand.
that accord you drive was a revolutionary car for its time, believe it or not. it set a standard for the japanese and american cars in its class in terms of performance, handling, appearence, and size (compared to camry/maxima). it was a great competitor - it was reliable, built with a high level of fit and finish. of course, this is all relitive to the era (1990) but still, that car deserves more credit. I love them; I used to own one.
as for my civic, its a reliable daily driver. it does what I need it to do. and it looks good getting me to places, with a great system to keep me entertained in the process.
I could care less about being boy-racer.
