Just get a APC intake, some altezza tailights, an aluminum wing (for downforce ) and some 19" rims. You will have a clean look with great top speed. This setup> *

Ok, seriously, for your budget, you shold go with the b18c1. Depending on where you live, it might have to be obd1. I have the 95 b18c1 in my 93 hatch and its great. The fastest car I have ever driven. I got my swap piece by piece, bought the complete shortblock and tranny from a friend for about 900, gave him my obd2 tranny (that grinds gears), bought the head separately off craigslist for 200. Had guides and seals replaced and valves (I put ferreas). So everything cost me probably less than 1500. I recommend the c1 because it just bolts in with the OEM gsr mounts. You don't have to buy all kind of conversion crap. And wiring it is easy, using the stock harness or the gsr harness. Even I was able to figure this crap out, so its not that hard. As for B20vtec or LSvtec, I wouldn't do it this way because I live in cali, where they are really strict and that wouldn't fly. And doing b20vtec would be maybe too hard for you at this point, but not impossible, if you want go for it, just make sure you research it a lot. Also for reliability I give the gsr motor an A++. Hope this helps some in making your decision

non-sense. Move the battery to the trunk and get custom rates on some GC's and its perfectly fine. It only weighs a small amount more than the B series.
