Thanks Tony. Your support was much appreciated. Here are the pics you scolded me about . I did this in my apt. underground garage. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Chillin in the back.

d15b vtec Pretty clean for $375 after tax MAKOTO AUTOPARTS CORPORATION in Gardena, CA. They're also in Virgina. Ask for Dave. Very nice person. Local pick-up saved shipping. 6 month unlimited mile warranty could not be beat. They're on ebay.

$40 hoist off of Craig's List. Bum-leg, but worked lol. Yes, I scraped the ground :lmao:

L.A. Machine Shop on Venice Blvd. resurfaced the flywheel for $28

Thanks to Josh's DIY, I got the clutch and pressure plate on properly

Getting the tranny to meet the block wasn't hard, but took me a while. :hs:

The lower mounts needed to come off. God Bless the impact wrench

h: All by myself. ftl And yes, I put the heat shield back on

The only thing that fit differently from the d16z6 to the d15b vtec was that the power steering bracket didn't line up all the way. The red arrow points to what didn't line up. The blue went in just fine. I guess the d15b block is longer.

Sitting next to her American Older Sister. Thanks HAN!!!!

I didn't use a compressor, but my Dewalt electric impact wrench sure came in handy. Right now I have a P28 w/ RP17 & RP18 removed w/out the jumper on RP18 because I got an automatic P28 and I have a 5-speed. I did need help with the axles and bleeding the clutch. :hs: My friend Kevin Doung helped me. Thanks Kevin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smog on Monday.

Bitchin'. Good work, man. Glad my DIY worked. It's great to hear that people use that and get their car going again. Very rewarding feeling.

Again, nice work.

Thanks Josh. I swear I read that DIY 30 times before doing it. I even put the pics on my Treo 650 so I could refer to them while working. Rewarding is right. I almost started passing out cigars :chuckles:
