Default '01 Civic slips out of 2nd

If anyone can help me I'd be grateful. My 2001 Civic (manual transmission) slips out of second gear often, especially when I'm turning and/or the clutch is slightly engaged. It has done this since I bought it new 5 years ago but has gotten much worse lately and doing it almost every day, especially when it's raining or damp outside. The scenario is, I switch to second to turn, then as I'm letting up the clutch and pressing the accelerator, it slips into neutral. Any suggestions? I find myself trying to hold down the gearshift with my hand to try to keep it from slipping. Every other gear works fine, but then, I usually only turn in second. Thanks!

I woulds say your sincro is bad or on the sincro hub some springs keep it in gear thy might be bad.I would take it out and take it to a trans shop or the dealer.
