Default d16y7 help?

i used to have a 93 hatch with a d16Z6 that was boosted so i know what THAT motor can do. well now im back on the boards this time tho with a 98 coupe that has a d16y7 motor in it.

my question is what mods can i do to get some good power out of it without blowing up?

thanks

you can either get a p28 ecu or convert your p06 to accept vtec, you will need a vtec dizzy, y8 or z6 head/ intake mani and tb, I not sure if you will need to run a knock sensor or not

Hey not pushing any products but the writers from Super Street have come up with a new magazine that I picked up today, it's called "Project Car" It's basically all tech magazine...tells how to get the most HP from what parts and has dyno sheets and run times to back it up instead of trusting the manufacturer (SP). This issue they did an EG civic coupe and got an extra 40% HP our of the D motor and still had some extra cash on their $5,000 budget to make it look nice and put a system in it...They also tuned a GSX ecplise and a 240 on low budget builds...good magazine
