i just picked up some tokico illuminas and i had a set of neuspeed race springs sitting in the room for awhile . i want to install them now but i got one question

which way does the srping go into the strut ??

looking at the spring upright it says neuspeed race srping and the top has a curve with a smaller diameter and on the bottom it has a larger diameter and its like cut on a flat surface type of thing .

any one knows whether i put it upright where i can read the neuspeed or put it upside down.

my guess is i put it upside down , but i need you guys for confirmation.

for my h&r sports with stock shocks, they went in with the letters right side up. there was only one real way they could go in too.

 

The flat part of the spring should go on top.

 

yeah buddy. they put the text on upside down for kicks.

flat is top for front...the smaller tappered end is the bottom for the rears.

 

alright thanks alot guys ... why neuspeed gotta make springs with the words upside down ?

should i use the dustcover or no ?? i mean really does it make a difference ?? i seen alot of cars without them .
