quick question on ecu swaping

my 94 d15 is obd1... and a 97 d16y8 engine is also 0bd1 so i can swap the ecus right in?

....edit..

so i will need a conversion harness to do the mini me?

the mini me swap i got came with a p28 ecu...
can i not use my stock engine harness on that?

so i got the 28.... and i bought an extra harness to hook up the vtec....

will my stock engine harness work?
