Hey guys!!! i need to know if anyone know how to take out the air conditioning and heater front console cause my bulbs in it have gone out and i cant take it out with out breaking it so i just gave up but i thought that pretty much everything on a honda civic are all clips but i dont know so please help thank you very much!!!!!

 

i believe there are a couple of bolts that hold the radio in place, those need to be removed so that you can also remove the console. they should be inside the console, underneath the radio. in my 01 you remove part of the console over the cup holders and can reach them there. i hope this helps, i'll try to find out more.

There are several screws that must be removed before the clips are the only thing hold the console in. When all the screws that are supposed to be out are out, it should have a fair amount of side to side or up and down play (but not much in and out). Search on Honda Tech for "climate control" because I think there's a DIY.

I've done this several times before but never tooks pics to make a DIY.
