what are the best ways to stiffen up a chassi??

 

perf. struts, springs, urethane bushings, bigger sway bars, traction bars...to name a few

 

poly urathane bushings, sway bars & suspension

 

heres what im running:
ksport coilovers
stock front sway bar
asr subframe brace w/ skunkworks 22mm sway bar(real soon)
full polyurethane bushings including rear trailing arm bushings
srr rear lcas with poly bushings
korback frame locks
itr front strut bar
skunk2 rear trunk bar
skunk2 rear lower tie bar
skunk2 upper a arm camber kit
srr rear camber kit
c-pillar bar
autopower 4pt roll bar

stiff as it can be!

 

Stiff spring rates and matched strut would have been a better investment than half that stuff.

 

minus the ksport coilovers he listed....which i just put in and love!

 

it was a gathered collection over the years and believe me, i got great deals on all of it. besides, the car is very fun to drive. :driving:

 

I've also heard very good things about frame locks.

korbach selected me about a year ago or so to be photographed for their instruction manual on installing a set of framelocks on an eg chassis. the catch, i had to drive out to san carlos and write up a review. its on here somewhere, gotta search for it.

but basically straight to the point, no bullsh1t, my car felt more stable and understeer is reduced alot. i test drove the car with frame locks on and then off, and then ken benen of benen industries took my car for a spin and he loved it, korbach gave him the blind test to c if he can spot the difference, it was awesome.

i would totally buy if i didnt get it for free and my car is in the eg instructional manual.

 

so what exactly are frame locks?
