'99 Civic DX Automatic Transmission replacement..How To's? DIY's?
The transmission on my '99 DX Hatch is pretty much gone and I may replace it. No manual conversions here, this is my beater. I've already found some transmissions locally.
My question is, what all is involved with replacing the transmission? I've done motor swaps in the past so I'm familar with Honda's but have never replaced an Automatic Tranny.
Is it pretty much as simple as removing the bad transmission and bolting up the new one then topping it off with Honda ATF? Any write up's, or how-to's are much appreciated.
