how many of you modify your car while still making payments?
I bought my 98 EX in December of '01 with 40k on the ticker... so far: gutted from seats back, motor pulled once, back in, trans out 2 times, back in, painted heads, new tails, various other little things...
I figure if I am paying for it, then I will do whatever I damn well please to it. If i get a wild hair, I can blow the bastard up. :nono:

I saved up, and paid cash for my 95 Ex. I also save up for each mod. After 2 years I have around $4k in mods. I know a group of people that all got 10K limit credit cards, and then dropped their NEW cars off at the body shop. So they are making payments for the car, and 10K of body work each month. In 5-7 years they'll have paid $60K for a car that'll be worth $3-4K. Just doesn't make sense to me.
the day after i got my car from the dealer, I was cutting holes in the doors for my tweeters. my dash and panels all the way between the seats were in pieces in my friends garage. His wife came out and was like, didn't you just buy that? HAHA. She was like, why didn't you buy a car with what you wanted inside of it....I of course said, because it doesn't exist, and if it did I wouldn't pay the dealer retail for it.
Had my car for a bit over three months or so and I will probably have a turbo on it by the end of this month. I did my wheels, exhaust intake and all in the first two months. I changed the muffers on my vette the second month I had it.
