Default Engine bay sizes for del sol

Are the engine bays for the del sols the same size?like the si,s, and vtec delsols cause u know that the si and s models are d-series engines so ive been wondering if the vtec engine bay was bigger cause i am going to swap my engine to a type r and theyre both b-series,so its a better swap because im swapping b-series engines not d-series to b-series or maybe it doesnt make a diffrence?thats wat i want to know plz help.thanks

All the same.

Next time please use the search function. And for further questions about your swap, use the "engine swap resources" thread or do a search in the "engine swap" forum. I can absolutely guarantee every question you may have has been answered at one point or another.

BTW, I'd also suggest doing a search on the costs/benefits of the b18c vs. the type r.

Lots of information out there

the type r is a great motor, it sets you off running in one direction, and that is NA. Now the downside is, if you plan on boosting, you gotta run back the other way and take care of some things before you can. Now the GSR motor will set you squarly at the cross roads. From a stock GSR you can go boost easily, or can build up or swap out the head for some NA action. The nicer thing is, your spending 3k vs the rediclous 4-5k type r swaps go for

if you just want to drop in an engine and not touch it again, go ahead and get a type r. but if you plan to do any sort of mods to it, save yourself a few grand and get a b18c1.
