Default Trim piece replacement

I am looking to getting the replacement trim pieces that is between the door and the window. i need to know where i can get it and what exactly its called..the black piece thats peeling away

Are you talking about the piece that goes around the window itself? If so thats the weather stripping or the windo trim.

Where can i get a replacement one? if able to i want black. not spray painted chrome like the one that came on it

Is it cracked? But im sure you can go to a dealer or even a junk yard and find one.

If its not cracked or boroken just spray it glossy black

just the paint thats on it now is cracking off. How easy is it to remove?

Sand it down with some 180 then follow with 220 and recoat it black.

What kinda car is it?

Most vehicles you have to remove the weather stripping around the window and the trim just pulls straight up.
