Why does it say in the door that my 95 civic dx weighs 3024 pds. even though everything ive ever read says it should weigh around 2034pds. I also read some on here say the del sol weighed 70 pounds lighter than a civic which i thought was totally false. The civic weighs more like 800 pounds lighter Right?

I said the Civic is lighter than the Del Sol by 7lbs. Not 70lbs. Do you even bother to look at the links?

And if the Civic weighed more then 800lbs more than the Del Sol, the Civic would be 3100lbs or more.

 

i think he meant the del sol is 800 lbs heavier. the difference is a matter of tens of lbs... not hundreds... just as CivicSiRacer stated. and actually... the civic ex coupe and sedan are both heavier than the del sol. either way... learn to read stuff closer and research a little better. as for your weight... the dx manual weighs 2178... automatic = 2264. research...

Will someone please answer my pointless but diffecult question. I want to know why the paper stuck to my door says something other than it should be, just like the tire pressure.
