Stock versus Stock they all handle the same. I also believe they all pull the same Gs.

What do you plan on doing to it? Autocrossing? Drag racing? Track days? Since you are so worried about handling.

For autocrossing the car is just too darn heavy (IMHO).

my del sol seems to handle way better than my civic did. the civic isn't much heavier... but i think the shorter wheel base of the del sol has something to do w/ it

The wheelbases are only different by about 10". Which is nothing.

And the 1993 Civic EX (manual) is lighter than the 1993 Del Sol Si by about 7lbs. The 1993 Civic Si is actually lighter by 70lbs.

for some reason it feels like my del sol handles corners and curves way better then my integra, both of them are stock my del sol doesnt lose much traction on fast turns but the integra feels like it wants to lose control and spin out, isnt the integra suppose to have a better suspension? or could it be i have a 200 lbs sound system in the back that effects it?

I second that!

Dude, what are you talking about...

When did I say anything about civic stock suspension handling good?? I didn't, period. I agree with you, they suck...
But you said "well stock suspenison on cars like those arent going to handle good at all so dont expect to much"
And I proceeded to address the fact that a prelude does handle very well, so your comment was wrong...

Then, I said my prelude's suspension is much better than the civic's and went on to compare the difference between my setup on the civic (which is all aftermarket) and the stock setup on the prelude, and then explain why I think the prelude handles very well, because it can "hang" with the civic and it's aftermarket suspension...
Don't understand where you got confused?

And trust me, I HAVE both and I've driven many other cars, and IMO the prelude has excellent handling.

The reason of the difference in handling between the Prelude SH and the Civic is also weight related. The Prelude just rides nicer because it's a heavier car feels more solid. But the Civic is lighter so of course it's going to be effected by road imperfections and such.

If you think the SH is one of the best handling cars you haven't driven a Type R, Mazdaspeed Protege, or even the SRT4 with the LSD.
LOL, I just had to address this...
I've been to autocrossing events in Allentown and Phila, so I've seen it all...
Including a "REAL" suspension, lol

You are right, the prelude is obviously heavier, and this will make the car "feel" more solid, but I'm talking about handling here, not "solidness"

And I can sit here and quote all kinds of different cars that I've driven (I don't have that much time) and I will say again the SH has very good handling, just as good as a Protege or SRT 4 even with the LSD...
I'm speaking from experience here, so no matter what you try and tell me that you "know", my experience speaks volumes above your comments... It's your word vs mine, ya know...
