Default Brake booster compatibility

I just finished doing a complete front and rear GSR brake swap into my '95 CX HB. Everything works perfect except one thing and it has to do with the brake booster. After driving my car for a couple miles the same thing always happens. I get this wierd reving thing going on when my car is at idle. It revs and drops constantly between 800-1200 RPM. This is due to the vacuum hose connecting the brake booster and the intake manifold. I checked and it is not the check valve, it works fine. I'm using a non-ABS brake booster off I'm guessing an LS. Do I need one off a GSR, one with ABS? I did not hook up the ABS on my brakes so I thought that I'd prefer the LS one, but maybe not. Any suggestions? Also one more thing. If I disconnect the master cylinder and brake booster, that shouldn't allow any air into the brake lines correct? Meaning I won't have to rebleed the brakes if I swap out brake boosters right? Thanks for any help.
