My 1993 3-dr Civic Si shorted out a main bus when the rear wiper motor took on water. The car smelled like a rubber factory on fire for several days. The front wipers quit and then the sun roof quit (in the open position, naturally). I thought the fuse system had failed and that the wiring harness was cooked medium-well but the auto electrics maharishi replaced one of the main buses under the hood and everything worked like new:bowdown: (except for the rear wiper, of course). Now I seem to have burned the bus again (sun roof stuck open, front wipers out) but I can't seem to find which bus-box fuse is the culprit (the underdash fuses are all good). Anybody know how I can find it without having to consult the car juice guru for another $86?

 

i believe its the fuse marked option in the fuse box under the hood but i dont understand why that has anything to do w/ the windshield wipers
i had the same prob recently starting first w/ the wipers going out a few months ago then the other day my sunroof was stuck open, but i think mine i just a coincidence thought i think both motors are just fried havent figured it out yet
