Default CEL code

My 1993 honda civic EX is throwing a code it says that the "CYP sensor(cylider) is defective" do you guys know where that sensor is located? thnx

I think it's in the distributor. It means you may need to replace it. :hs:

It's inside the distributor. It's a goner. needs to be replaced. I think trying to fix it would be like trying to replace the wire inside of a light bulb. You just replace the whole thing.

I don't know how fitting that analogy was, but I just know that when you throw that code, it means it's time to replace the distributor. :hs:
