Hey all,

My little sis just got a 2006 civic LX. She parked it, came back outside to notice her driver side mirror broken off. We ordered the new part, but Im curious to know how to replace it? Im sure I can figure it out, but I wanted to know if there is anything special I need to do or look for?

Can you take pics of it? I've never seen the interior but from pics of the door we should be able to tell you how to take it apart... or atleast a good starting point

 

Im sorry, I dont have the car with me. Its my sister in laws and she is driving down to have me put it on for her. Im sure I can figure it out, but I havent actually done one of these before. Here are some pics I found online.

That plastic cover should just pop off and yo should be able to get the bolts holding the mirror onto the car beneath it

If you can't remove the plastic cover, you might have to remve the door panel first... :hs:
