i think you could probably pass emission with no cat, but they'd smell your exhaust fumes and know you have no cat. last time i got my emissions i was wayyyyyy below the limit of failing emissions. i think you could pass but cause they know you have no cat you'd fail. as long as your motor runs clean you should be okay... who knows take your cat off and try....

hrmm i don't know why everyone keeps saying the N1 is freaking loud. I thought that before then my tanabe g power medallion kind of crusted out and died. I cut off my tanabe and welded on a genuine Apex N1 muffler. It sounded WAY more quiet than the g power medallion...maybe cause it was because i got a turbo too...that really helped quiet it down a lot.

w/ turbo cars..they are relatively quiter than n/a motors...alot deeper
